The  in person LEAD Conference has been postponed, so we'll postpone the virtual conference as well. We'll update the event as soon as a new date is selected.

LEAD Conference is a one-day conference hosted by NT40 focused on introducing students to topics that enhance their leadership skills and connecting them to other students to create a network of support. LEAD stands for Lead, Explore, Aspire, and Develop, where students lead with purpose, explore their potential, aspire to make an impact, and develop the foundation of lifelong leadership. The Online Student Experience is partnering with NT40 to create a virtual experience for online students. The Virtual LEAD Conference is completely free, just register using the link below to attend.

Leadership starts with knowing what matters most to you. In this session, you’ll explore your personal values and how they can guide your decisions, relationships, and actions as a leader. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what drives you and how to lead with authenticity and confidence.

10:50 – 12:20 PM | Session 2 – Imagine the Future You Want to See
Many people see problems in their communities, classrooms, workplaces, or the world around them. Leaders do something more: they help move people from awareness to action. In this hands-on session, you will identify issues you care about, connect with others who share similar concerns, and work together to develop practical solutions.

Take a break, have some fun, and connect with fellow participants through interactive games and icebreakers.
12:30 – 1:00 PM | Lunch Break
Take time to recharge and come back refreshed and ready to continue our leadership conversations.
1:00 - 1:25 PM | Session 3 - Student Leadership
Hear directly from UNT students as they share their leadership journeys, lessons learned, and experiences creating impact on campus and in their communities.
1:30 - 1:55 PM | Session 4 - Leadership Legacy
Many people think of legacy as something that happens at the end of a long career or life. In reality, legacy is being created every day through our choices, relationships, and actions. The values we practice today shape the impact we have tomorrow.
1:55 - 2:00 PM | Conference Closing and Call to Action
As the conference comes to a close, you'll reflect on the skills, ideas, and connections you've gained throughout the day. Together, we'll revisit the theme of Shaping What's Next and challenge each other to identify one action they will take to put their leadership into practice.
