Hi, I’m Ashlynn! I earned my B.S. in finance from Virginia Tech and quickly made a life pivot to become a therapist. I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNT in 2023. I have experience working in both intensive outpatient and private practice settings for individuals facing addiction and mental health struggles. My interests include working with addiction, trauma, stress/burnout, life transitions, grief, and identity exploration. I received a 200-hour yoga teacher training and love incorporating somatic techniques, grounding, and mindfulness in my work. I enjoy supporting clients in remembering how to access joy and self-acceptance. In my free time I love cooking, yoga, reading, playing with my dog outside, old movies, thrifting, and any kind of adventure.
