Jane Van Bunnen

Jane Van Bunnen serves as a Talent Search Assistant Advisor for Strickland Middle School and also enjoys chaperoning the high school college tours. She was born in Dodge City, grew up in McPherson Kansas, and has lived in Denton since 1996. In High school Jane was in the DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) for three years. After High School Jane attended the Salina Kansas Brown Mackie School of Business, Fashion Merchandising program. When Jane moved to Denton in 1996, she became Gift Shop Manager at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. She retired in 2016. She is proud of all the many successful college students that were part of her team through their college years and is excited to help the Strickland Middle School 8th grade students explore their career interests and potential.
