My name is Jennifer Ratto and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I
earned my M.A. in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Hardin-Simmons
University in 2021. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, identity
development, grief, religious issues, body image issues, neurodivergence, and many
other concerns. My perspective as a therapist is that everyone has value and can find
purpose in their life. I enjoy entertaining existential questions with my clients
and helping them become comfortable with who they are and accepting the unknowns in
our world. My goal is always to offer unconditional acceptance and a safe space for
unearthing uncomfortable truths. In my free time I enjoy hiking, sewing, crochet,
baking, travel, and just getting quality time with my husband, daughter, and our dog.
I love being part of a college campus and participating in the success of the students
at UNT. I consider it a great privilege to provide support and care on your journey
to success.
