Jordan Richardson

Hi! I am Jordan Richardson, M.S., an LPC who was clinically supervised by Barbara Armitage, MA, LPC-S. I graduated with B.A. in Sociology from Southwestern University and graduated with my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. In my career, I have had the chance to work in college counseling settings, community mental health centers, residential treatment centers, and in private practice settings. My specialties have become working with clients on anxiety, depression, identity development, and coping with overwhelming emotions. I have always loved games and other geeky things, so I have developed ways to bring gaming, anime, comics, and similar interests into my work with clients. As the Housing Counselor, I work with students who live on campus in the residence hall, particularly with first-year students. It is my job to help students adjust to the complicated and sometimes overwhelming experiences that are a part of campus and university life.
