Mickey Farris

I was born and raised in Dallas Texas, and I now reside in Keller Texas.  My elementary and secondary education are by way of Notre Dame of Dallas formerly St. Peter's Academy.  I attended and graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School in 1987.  I attended Dallas County Community College and received an associate's degree prior to enrolling at the university level.  I began my studies at North Texas State University, now The University of North Texas, in the spring of 1991 and graduated in May of 1996 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and minors in criminal justice and sociology.  I was a four-year member of the cheer team, a member of the 1995 NCA Collegiate National Championship team.  I was assistant coach of the 2000 and 2002 NCA National Championship teams.  Lastly, and most important I'm a Christian and Veteran and proudly served my country as a United States Marine.
