I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville; I received
my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University; and I have a B.A.
in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Biology and Asian
Studies from Baylor University. My internship was completed at the North Texas VA
Health Care System in Dallas; my post-doctoral residency was with a private practice
in the North Dallas area. My clinical interests include anxiety/depression, first-generation
college students, trauma, identity development, and grief/loss. I feel honored to
be able to work with students of different backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities;
I strive to provide a safe and therapeutic environment to encourage ongoing growth
and development. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends,
reading, and relaxing.
