The Executive Branch is comprised of the Executive Board and Administrative Staff. The 2020-2021 Executive Board consists of the President, Vice President, Chief of Staff, Communications Director, Outreach Director, Human Resources Director, Student Allocations Director, Deputy Chief of Staff, Director of Diversity & Inclusion, and Intern Program Director. The Administrative Staff is a new development that works directly under members of the Executive Board, assisting in various roles on the Communications and Outreach teams.
How to become a member: The Student Government Association President and Vice President are elected annually by the student body. These members must campaign, attend a debate and town hall, and win the popular vote in order to hold office. The remaining executive members are appointed by the President and Vice President through a rigorous application and interview process. These members are then presented to the Senate who must approve their appointment.
