WHY Non-Traditional and Commuter Student Support?

Part of the Center for Belonging and Engagement, Non-Traditional and Commuter Student Support proudly provides services, resources, events, and programs for UNT's commuter and non-traditional student populations as well as students with children. The mission of Non-Traditional and Commuter Student Support is to cultivate a campus environment where these student populations may feel appreciated, supported, and connected to the UNT community and therefore support their academic success. 

Whether you're navigating the winding roads towards your degree or parenting while pursuing your dreams, our team is here to 'steer' you in the right direction. We are 'fuel' of resources, services, and vibrant programming made especially for UNT's commuters, non-traditional students, and student parents!

Join CONNECT to advocate for fellow commuters and non-trads!

Non-Traditional and Commuter Student Support allows students to engage with our office and advocate for their peers. By joining our student leadership group, CONNECT members help plan Non-Traditional and Commuter Student Support' events and programs, provide feedback to us about potential gaps in services and serve on university committees to speak on the needs of these student populations.
