DESRC Donations

It's difficult for us to accept direct donations while we move locations, so please consider donating to some of our campus/community partners instead of directly to us during our move. We also accept monetary donations through UNT Advancement (see "Monetary Donations" section on this page); we host an Amazon wishlist as well.

We will accept direct donations to our new home (621 S. Welch St.) after we re-open on August 3, 2026. For more information on the move, see the DESRC homepage or Food Pantry homepage.

Food Donations

We have various shelf-stable food donation bins across campus including:

• the Dean of Student's Office (Union 409)
• Finance, Insurance, Real Estate, and Law department (BLB 212)
• Support Services Building (inside the front door on the right)
• Chestnut Hall (Suite 302).

Please also consider donating to other local pantries; check our off-campus resources page.

Clothing/Textiles Donations

• For on-campus donations,  look for Zero Waste Textile Initiative's pink clothing donation bins across campus. A list of the bin locations are on their webpage; see their bin map here.
• Many food pantries also have clothing closet programs (see link below)
• Local housing shelters frequently request clothing & bedding (check our off-campus resources page under the "Denton Community Housing & Shelter Resources" tab).
• Many animal shelters also take donations of towels & blankets.
