About Us

The Diamond Eagle Clothing Closet is aims to provide clothing for students who may not have access to financial means, including high quality professional attire for students rent for interviews, job fairs, and other professional development opportunities. The Closet also has an option for student to rent out professional clothing attire for job fairs, interviews, or other prfoessional development opportunities. The UNT Suit Up Program makes professional suits and business attire available for current students to rent for up to one week at no cost to the student for job interviews and other professional events such as job fairs, presentations, and headshots. 

Using the Closet 

During the long semester, the closet is available by appointment through Navigate360 Student, by selecting 'Diamond Eagle Student Resource Center' as the location. When you sign up for an appointment, please list whether you are looking for a professional clothing rental or general clothing access. 

If utilizing the Suit Up Program , pease provide proof of your professional opportunity, such as a screenshot of an interview confirmation or job fair date.  Although there is no charge to rent the clothing, students are responsible for having the items professionally dry cleaned before returning them. The UNT Career Center has a partnership with Lee Cleaners located at 1618 W. University Dr. in Denton where students can receive 10% off their dry cleaning service if they mention the UNT Career Center and bring their UNT student ID. 

Donating to the Closet

Donations are accepted during operating hours (M-F 8am-5pm) by drop-off.  Clothing should be no more than three years old, and must be clean and free of stains, tears, or holes.  

We appreciate you considering the Diamond Eagle Clothing Closet when it comes time to clean out your closets! 

Return Policy

The Diamond Eagle Clothing Closet requires certain professional clothing items to be returned. We reserve our highest quality items for us in the Suit Up Closet for rent. We ask that students clean and return their clothing items within a week after their professional event takes place. If you find yourself needing additional time, you can connect with us to request extensions of up to 1 week at a time, no more than 3 weeks. 

Students with overdue rentals are unable to utilize the closet until their items are returned. Multiple infringements on this policy will result in a hold on their UNT student account. Please contact us at desresources@unt.edu with any questions about this policy.
