Counseling is available for the areas of educational, vocational, marital, emotional, and personal adjustment and development for UNT students. As a college student, you have a lot on your plate to balance. From academics, work and social commitments, the RISE Center is here to support you and your goals. The RISE Center offers stigma free, nonjudgmental support services for students seeking information on alcohol and other drugs, along with peer recovery support. Their department houses two primary supportive services, the Substance Use Resource Education (SURE) program and the Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP).

The Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC) is the on-campus medical clinic for UNT students. Students enrolled in the current semester who have paid the medical services fee are eligible to be seen. The SHWC offers treatment for injuries, illnesses, and other medical issues with convenient access to on-site laboratory testing and x-rays. Specialty services include gynecology, travel medicine, nutrition, psychiatry, and ADHD medication management.

Offers a wide variety of legal assistance. The goal of this office is to counsel, advise, and represent University of North Texas students. Student Legal Services may write letters, draft legal documents, represent students, arrange for meidation, or otehrwise attempt to resolve legal problems.
