The North Texas Dancers are the official dance team of the University of North Texas!
Our program consists of 16-20 student-athletes that showcase a combination of jazz,
pom, and hip-hop techniques throughout our performance style. We can be seen dancing
on the sidelines at all home football games, volleyball games, and men's and women's
basketball games. Our dancers travel to out of state football games, conference championship,
and bowl games; as well as men's and women's basketball tournament games.
The North Texas Dancers compete in the D1A jazz and pom divisions at the NDA Collegiate National
Championship in Daytona Beach, FL. Around campus and within the Denton community,
the North Texas Dancers serve as student ambassadors for our university with pride
and professionalism. Our team members take part in various community service and charity
work throughout the city, host dance clinics for young dancers and prospective dance
team members, and support all UNT organizations!
