Make Up Orientation

The following Make Up Orientation process is for new students admitted to UNT during the late registration period. Students should complete the following steps in order to get advised and register for classes for the upcoming semester:

1. Complete the Make Up Orientation Course in Canvas

Students can self-enroll in the Make Up Orientation course through Canvas. All modules should be completed and reviewed in order to complete the Make Up Orientation process.

2. Participate in Drop In Advising

In order to be advised during Late Registration, students should participate in Drop In Advising with their major college. Advising is required to remove the Orientation and Advising Hold from the MyUNT portal. 

3. Register for Classes

Once all holds are removed from the MyUNT portal, students can register for classes for the upcoming semester. Orientation and Transition Programs will be hosting Course Registration Assistance sessions daily from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Make Up Orientation Course

To complete the Make Up Orientation Canvas course, log on to learn.unt.ed with your EUID and password. Students can self-enroll in the course using the following link: https://unt.instructure.com/enroll/LTPFKX 

Drop In Advising

Use the chart below to learn how to connect with your major college advising office during Late Registration.  Students should participate in advising to have their Orientation and Advising hold removed. Tuition payments are required during the same day of registration during Late Registration.

 

Course Registration Assistance

Course Registration Assistance is available on Monday, August 19 - Friday, August 23 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. to help students with course registration questions.

Make sure you have completed academic advising before attending Course Registration Assistance.
