Online Orientation Process

Students pursuing an online degree will participate in an online orientation through the UNT Canvas website. You must register and pay for your orientation prior to receive access to the online orientation.

Online orientations are scheduled over the duration of a week, but you are not required to log in to live sessions each day of the week. Your online orientation will consist of the following steps:

  • Complete the course titled "Online Orientation - New Students" in Canvas. The course will become available on the first day of your scheduled orientation session.
  • Complete the online orientation course for your major in Canvas. The major courses are linked to the university course in the last module.
