First-Gen Meets Parents Programs

Join us for a luncheon to celebrate first generation families and hear how UNT supports students through their academic journey. During this event, attendees will hear from professional and student stories of the first gen experiences. The goal of the event is to offer a space for first generation families to reflection on the experience and build awareness of the resources available to support them. The event is free to attend, but an RSVP is required.

Legacy Lunch

This event will honor our parent and family alumni with current UNT students during the weekend's activities. We realize the importance of parent involvement in a student's college career and want to recognize your membership in the North Texas community. 

Mean Green Family Golf Scramble

The Mean Green Golf Scramble is an opportunity for students and parents to enjoy a fun afternoon of golf, games and dinner! The tournament will feature a 9-hole scramble and fun prizes along the way. This is a great event to invite a friend or your family members to play a quick round of golf! We hope you will join us for a fun night!

Mean Green Family Live

You are invited to participate in Mean Green Family Live webinars hosted by UNT Parent Programs, focusing on new student transition. In these sessions, we will address some frequently asked questions and concerns of new students and families, and you will have a chance to hear from, and ask questions of, representatives from UNT.
