Registration Revisited

UNT students register for classes based on their classification. Classification is determined by number of credit hours a student has. See below for your classification, based on number of completed credit hours.

Freshman	0 – 29 hours
Sophomore	30 – 59 hours
Junior	60 – 89 hours
Senior	90+ hours

Freshman students can register for the Spring 2026 academic semester beginning Monday, November 3^rd, 2025 7:00 am. Meeting with an advisor is required for all freshman students before their advising hold is lifted to register for the spring semester.
