Purpose

The Raupe Travel Grant is a fund available to University of North Texas undergraduate students who are attending a conference that will not only benefit the university but also enrich their own academic and professional development. This opportunity provides students with knowledge and experiences that go beyond the traditional classroom setting.

Information and Eligibility

  • Students may receive up to $750 per semester toward one (1) conference.
  • There is no limit to the number of students attending the same conference; however, the total funding for any one conference is capped at $3,000.
  • Student organizations wishing to send multiple members to the same conference should submit one (1) application for all members.
  • If a group’s request exceeds $3,000, the excess amount must be approved by the UNT SGA President.
  • Applications must be submitted at least four (4) weeks in advance, but no more than three (3) months before the start of the conference.
  • The Raupe Travel Grant is reimbursement-based. Approved funds will only be distributed after the conference and upon uploading valid receipts.

Note: Receipts must be submitted within 14 days of the last day of the conference. Failure to meet this deadline may result in forfeiture of your reimbursement.
