What attracted you to UNT?

"UNT is a visibly diverse campus and I knew that I needed to call this university home. I was so excited to be around people who looked like yet came from very different walks of life."

How have you gotten involved in campus?

"Since my freshman year of college, I have been a member of UNT's University Program Council. I wanted to contribute more to the organization so I applied to be a coordinator and got the job! I was a marketing coordinator during the 2019-2020 academic year and am now Vice President of Marketing for the 2020-2021 academic year. I'm also a part of the FGSO executive board and a proud member of the North Texas Forty!"

What advice would you give to a student who is looking to make the most of their time at UNT?

"My advice to a student looking to make the most out of their time is to join an organization that they feel strongly connected to! It's okay to go to an organization's meeting and decide it's not for you. There is at least ONE organization on campus that you will feel excited to be a part of."
