What attracted you to UNT?

UNT is a very diverse university that has many great programs such as the pre-med engineering program. They offer a variety of student ran organizations and events that really caught my eye. Most importantly, they have a strong support system towards first generation students.

What is an identity you're proud to share with others at UNT?

An identity that I am proud to share at UNT is being a Latinx First Generation Student.

How have you gotten involved in campus?

As a freshman, I have gotten involved around campus by attending events for students ran by UPC and by the First-Generation Success Center. I hope to join other clubs to expand my involvement this fall.

What advice would you give to a student who is looking to make the most of their time at UNT?

Make sure that you set time aside to interact with new people and networking will get you recognized around campus, this will also bring great opportunities your way!

How has your UNT experience been so far?

My experience at UNT has been great, I love the campus, and the actives held on campus for students. The first-generation success center has been one of my biggest support systems.

What's a fun fact about you?

What are your plans after you finish at UNT?

After I graduate UNT, I plan to attend medical school with the hope of one day pursuing a career in the neurosurgery field.
