Do you want a chance to make a difference with a group of college students? Are you eager to build relationships with students while impacting the community?
We are seeking UNT staff members to serve as advisors in the Alternative Spring Break Program. Alternative Spring Break is a unique opportunity for students to spend their spring break (March 8th-14th, 2025) volunteering together in a community outside the local area. These amazing, immersive experiences allow students, staff, and community members to truly work together, as well as, make an incredible difference in a week and build relationships that last a life time!
About ASB
In 2015, the Center for Leadership & Service offered 13 spring break trips and 1 alternative winter break trip serving in Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Alabama, and Louisiana volunteering with various topics.
The Role of an Advisor
The role of the advisor is to empower the student Site Leaders and team to create an incredible experience. Students apply and are selected around October, and meet until spring break. Training is provided and there is a small cost to participate.
