The We Mean Green Fund empowers UNT students, faculty, and staff to improve our institution through campus projects that embody passion and spirit for environmental sustainability.
WMGF staff consists of a project coordinator and two student garden facilitators. The staff team works closely with the WMGF Committee to guide students and staff through the process of proposing a project and ensures implementation of projects after funding, as well as works to care for on-going WMGF projects.
Students who want to schedule a meeting to discuss creating a sustainable project on campus should follow the steps below:
Faculty and staff who wish to schedule a meeting may email WeMeanGreenFund@unt.edu or Cody.Kimpton@unt.edu to set up a meeting.
To join the Community Garden or be added to the Community Garden or Sustainable Arts Garden volunteer lists, Navigate360 appointments can also be set up under the "Diamond Eagle Student Resource Center" care team. Select "Community Garden Orientation" or "Sustainable Arts Garden Orientation" for the respective garden you'd like to volunteer at. Meet at the garden for your orientation.
