6 Months Before Graduation
- Apply for Graduation
- Learn about the UNT Alumni Association
- Visit the UNT Human Resources website for full time jobs at UNT
- Join Professional Organizations related to your career field (many offer discounted membership rates for students)
- Visit the Student Money Management Center
- Reach out to former employers and professors for Job References
3 Months Before Graduation
- Visit the Commencement Website for more information about your commencement ceremony
- Order Graduation Regalia and Invitations
- Schedule a Mock Interview with the Career Center
- Ask faculty members for Job Search Tips and Advice
2 Months Before Graduation
- Take your Senior Pictures
- Pick up Graduation Announcements and send the out to family and friends
- Help your friends and family make Travel Arrangements to attend commencement
- Create a plan to Pay Down Your Debt
- Pick Up Graduation Regalia
- Pick up any Honor Cords and Stoles you may have earned for graduation
1 Month Before Graduation
- Make sure you have a Paid Balance with Student Accounting
- Complete Exit Counseling with Student Financial Aid and Scholarships
- Make a Senior Gift
- International Students should check their Visa Requirements
- Settle up Housing Arrangements
1 Month After Graduation
- Get Involved with the Alumni Association
- Update your Contact Information with the Alumni Association
- Share your Achievement with professional networks (LinkedIn)
