How to Register


To register for an orientation session, log in at with your EUID and password. Once logged in, click Advising & Orientation, then Register for Orientation.


You can register for orientation by making a payment over the phone. To do so, call our office at 940-565-4198.

Family and Guests

Families can register for orientation online by visiting our Families and Guests Orientation page.

NOTE: Payment arrangements for the orientation fee must be made at the time of registering for the session to secure your spot.

What if I cannot pay for my orientation?

Financial constraints will not prohibit you from attending orientation. Students who have applied for financial aid can elect to have their full orientation fee deferred to their student account. To receive a fee deferment for your full orientation fee, complete the form below.

Summer/Fall 2021 Opened December 7, 2020 OPEN
Spring 2022 Registration will open closer to Fall 2021. CLOSED

Switching Sessions

If you need to change or have missed your orientation date, we can assist you remotely. Email us at or with your student ID number and the date you wish to change to. As long as the session you wish to change to has not reached registration capacity, we will change your orientation session.

Cancellations (Before Orientation)

If you are unable to attend your orientation session, you can request to cancel at least 5 business days prior to your scheduled orientation date and be eligible for a full refund. To do so, please complete the cancellation request form below.

Refunds (After Orientation)

After your orientation date has passed, all orientation fees are non-refundable, including Parent Orientation fees. If you missed the cancellation deadline, but feel you have an extenuating circumstance, please complete the refund request form below. The decision to attend another college or university is NOT an extenuating circumstance. All students, including deferred, are responsible for any outstanding orientation charges.

If you have duplicate payments for orientation, you may be eligible for a refund. Please complete the refund request form and our staff will reach out to you with more information about your payment status.

Application Change or Update

If you have already applied or been admitted to UNT and you need to change your start date, you will need to request an update to your application term through an online.

Undergraduate Application Update form

If you have already completed the form and been readmitted for an upcoming semester but paid and/or attended an orientation in the past, please contact our office for assistance registering for orientation.
