Virtual Parent & Family Orientation

We would like to invite you to take part in our Virtual Parent Orientation program, which is being hosted in the Canvas online learning system. If you would like to take part and view the online content intended to help you learn about UNT and the services and resources available to your student, email our Parent Programs office. Disability Accommodations

Students who intend to register with the Office of Disability Access (ODA) under the terms of ADA/504, or who request accommodations during their orientation session, should check the appropriate boxes on their orientation registration materials. In addition, please contact ODA two weeks prior to your orientation date by calling 940-565-4323, TTY callers 1-800-RELAY TX. Visit the ODA website at

Parking and Transportation

When & where to park at UNT


If you are unable to attend your orientation session, you can request to cancel at least 5 business days prior to your scheduled orientation date and be eligible for a full refund. The 2022 Cancellation Request form will be available after registration has opened.


After your orientation date has passed, all orientation fees are non-refundable. If you missed the cancellation deadline, but feel you have an extenuating circumstance, please complete the refund request form below. Your student's decision to attend another college or university is NOT an extenuating circumstance.

If you have duplicate payments for orientation, you may be eligible for a refund. Please complete the refund request form and our staff will reach out to you with more information about your payment status.

Please note that due to restrictions in place for COVID-19 we are not able to take returns for packet requests at this time. All online orientation packet sales are final with no opportunity for exchange.
