About Transfer Parent Orientation

Parents and family members are an important part of the UNT family and their support and interest are critical to a student’s successful adjustment to university life. See below for information about the 2021 Parent & Family Orientation program and how you can participate.

Parent & Family Orientation Packets

Due to restrictions in place for COVID-19, guests are not permitted at Transfer Orientation programs. Parents and family members have the opportunity to purchase an orientation packet of materials to help support student transition to UNT. Packets include our Parent Handbook, Seasons of Adjustment calendar, Mean Green Family decal, t-shirt, bag, and more! You can request up to three additional t-shirts for $5 each. Packets will start mailing in June.
