Founder's Day is the celebration of UNT's birthday! On September 16, 1890, President Joshua C. Chilton founded the Texas Normal College and Teacher Training Institute, which we now know as the University of North Texas. This year marks the University of North Texas' 131st birthday and we're so excited to celebrate! Join us for a free meal, remarks from the President, and the chance to learn more about some of our student organizations on campus!

Student Organization Tabling

This year, registered student orgs will have the opportunity to table during at Founder's Day free of charge. Starting Thursday, August 26th, you can sign up for a table to promote your organization at this event. Spacing is limited and is assigned on a first come, first served basis. The deadline to sign-up has passed.

Volunteer at Founder's Day!

Volunteers are an essential part of Founder's Day - we couldn't host an event this large without them! Individuals may even earn volunteer/service hours for their help with this event. The deadline to sign-up to volunteer has passed.
