Nearly a century of Mean Green moments have shaped the traditions we treasure today, and each year, Homecoming becomes the moment when past, present and future come together. Whether you’re returning to campus with memories to relive or stepping into your very first Homecoming experience, this is your chance to help carry UNT’s legacy forward.

2026 Homecoming Crew Applications

The Homecoming Crew is a group of students who are selected to plan the annual Homecoming events, manage the logistics, and ensure that all UNT Eagles have the opportunity to celebrate with Mean Green Spirit! If you are selected as a member of the Homecoming Crew, you will be tasked with planning one of Homecoming's signature events like Bonfire or Scrappy Games. You will also get to collaborate with the rest of Crew to make important decisions like what the Homecoming theme will be!

2026 Homecoming Crew applications are open until January 18 at 11:59 p.m.

Tailgate Information

North Texas took tailgating into account when it constructed DATCU Stadium by setting aside areas just outside the stadium for students, fans and alumni to gather before games.
