SCRAPPY'S SPOOKY SCAVENGER HUNT: OCTOBER 23-28, 2023

Complete Scrappy's Spooky Scavenger Hunt on the Scavify app by attending events during Homecoming week, participating in photo challenges, and answering trivia! All Homecoming events will have QR codes that can contribute to the hunt. Based on the number of tasks you complete; you will be entered for a chance to win prizes, including AirPods and a Polaroid camera! To participate, download the Scavify app on your Apple or Google Play Store. Create an account in the app and search for "Scrappy's Spooky Scavenger Hunt" to join the hunt by scrolling to your "Tasks" list.

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Library Mall (Union 314 if Rain) and Discovery Park

Join us at the Picnic to kick off the University of North Texas' Homecoming Week! Bring your Mean Green spirit and celebrate with the pep band, North Texas Cheer, North Texas Dancers, and Scrappy for a pep rally at 11:30 AM. Free food with current UNT ID.

Come celebrate Homecoming Week with CSA and Discovery Park with our green and white Victory Candy Bar!

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2023: PARANORMAL SCRAPTIVITY SERVICE EVENT

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Library Mall (Union 333 if rain)

The Service event is an opportunity for campus to give back to the community through an act of service. This year, we are working with the Children's Advocacy Center by creating and donating goodie cauldrons. Participating students should bring an active UNT ID!

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2023: HOMECOMING PICNIC (FRISCO)

4:00 PM - 6:30 PM at FRLD 130 & Outdoor Space

Partake in the annual UNT tradition of the homecoming cookout right here on the Frisco campus! Join us for lawn games, live music, UNT Trivia, and make your own UNT swag with The Spark Maker Space. Attendance at this event counts towards the Frisco Engage Social Module.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2023: YELL LIKE HELL

7:00 PM at Coliseum

The Progressive Black Student Organization and Student Activities present Yell Like Hell, an annual competition full of dancing, performances, stepping, and a full load of UNT Mean Green spirit! Free with UNT ID. Note: the deadline for teams to sign up has already passed.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2023: SPIRIT MARCH, BONFIRE, TEAM COMPETITION AWARDS

7:00 PM (Spirit March at Fraternity Row); 8:00 PM (Bonfire & Awards Ceremony at DATCU Stadium, North Lot)

This is the final Pep Rally of Homecoming week, featuring the Bonfire built by the Talons, fireworks, a live DJ, and more! Bonfire has been a tradition for over 50 years and is a great way to show some Mean Green spirit prior to playing Memphis! Bonfire is sponsored by the UNT Alumni Association.

Team Competition event winners will be announced at an award ceremony at the Bonfire. Teams are invited to join in celebrating the accomplishments of students throughout the week, in the awarding of the Scrappy Cup.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2023: SPIRIT BASH (UPC)

7:00 PM (Pre-Event Activities) 8:00 PM (Concert Begins) at Library Mall

Spirit Bash is an annual Homecoming event that exists to increase spirit and highlight traditions during Homecoming week. This year it will be a UPConcert featuring Leanna Firestone. Kicking off the concert will be a churro truck, giveaways and more. Active UNT ID required for entry!
