TRIO sophomores are learning about financial literacy! This month, 10th grade students at DHS attended the "Game of Life" workshop to learn about gross/net income, taxes, insurance, budgeting, and more! Jayden T. and Abbi W. are the winners of two stuffed pigs graciously donated to us by the UNT Student Money Management Center. Stay tuned for more winners soon!

Class representatives at DHS volunteered their time to help recruit more students for TRIO! Pictured from left to right are Skyelar Hester (12th), Ava Dennis (11th), and Briseida Chavarria (12th). These ladies practiced their public speaking skills as they talked to students and their families about what TRIO is and how we work.

BRONCOS IN THE SPOTLIGHT

TALENT SEARCH staff have been working hard this summer providing Rising Senior Summer Bootcamps for Seniors 2023! We provided small group workshops with individualized attention to help students complete their summer college and financial aid tasks. Here are some highlights of what has been accomplished in June and July 2022. Please allow me to recognize seniors for being flexible, adaptable, and still very much willing to take time out of their summer to complete college prep items, all with location changes as needed due to DHS still being under construction.
