Parent Involvement is Pivotal to Success!

Student involvement in the program starts with you! By being involved in your child's success, it makes the path to achieving their dream degree a much higher likelyhood.

Parent Communication Platform

When parents are involved and engaged in their student's education the chances for student success increase greatly. To help parents be engaged and to stay informed on what their students are doing academically in TRIO Upward Bound we will be using GroupMe, a parent-teacher communication platform. GroupMe allows us to send out real-time announcements, updates, and calendar events. Parents will also have direct access to all staff members at any time through the use of GroupMe direct chat feature. We encourage all of our parents to join us on GroupMe.

Parents who need help setting up a GroupMe account or accessing the TRIO UB group please send us an email at Gabriel.lira@unt.edu.
