LEAD Mentors is a student leadership board that is dedicated to promoting leadership education and development to the UNT student population. The LEAD Mentors host monthly leadership-based events, workshops, and tabling and consultations for UNT. In addition, LEAD Mentors can design a leadership workshop that fits your specific group’s needs and interests.
Interested in hosting a professional development workshop or leadership opportunity? Request a LEAD Mentor meeting. From tailoring a fun and engaging workshop to a group or receiving 1-on-1 leadership advice, our LEAD Mentors are trained to help you. These 30‑minute consultations offer customized workshop planning or one‑on‑one leadership guidance on topics such as leadership styles, team building, communication, conflict resolution, goal setting, group dynamics, and public speaking. Please submit your request at least seven days in advance.
If you are interested in strengthening your leadership skills like public speaking, outreach, teamwork, marketing and event planning, join LEAD Mentors! To become a LEAD Mentor, you must be an emerging or current leader on campus, have submitted a completed interest form, and attend weekly meetings held Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
