About the Leadership Studies Certificate

About UCRS 3600: Leadership in Practice

Leadership in Practice is a three-credit-hour course taught each spring semester by the Center for Leadership Development. The course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.

The course focuses on building a strong foundation in leadership by integrating leadership theory with practical application and hands-on experiences. Through active learning and reflection, students develop essential leadership skills that prepare them to be effective leaders in their careers, communities, on campus and beyond.
