Greek Week is a time in the spring when the members of the fraternity and sorority community come together around events of celebration and fellowship. The week's series events are designed to build community and positively impact the UNT and greater Denton area. Fraternity and sorority chapters form teams and compete to win competitions to determine who the Greek Week champions are. Points are determined by who wins events and/or who has the highest participation and contributes the most to the community service effort. Events in the past have included the Field day, Banner Competition, athletic events and games, and penny wars (fundraising for charity).
Greek Week is coordinated by the four governing councils of the fraternity and sorority community, with assistance from the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life.
