Order of Omega

The Order of Omega was founded at the University of Miami in the fall of 1959. Since that time, more than 260 campuses have been honored with the establishment of a chapter of the Order of Omega. The Beta Xi Chapter was chartered in June of 1978 and began an active role on campus in 1978 with more than 15 initiated members. Order of Omega is a Greek honorary society that represents the top 3% of the whole CFSL community. The Beta Xi Chapter of Order of Omega is responsible for the development and facilitation of “Greek 101”, a new member education program, for the whole CFSL community each semester. In the spring semester, Order of Omega coordinates the annual Greek Awards to honor chapters and members for their great accomplishments and achievements. In the fall semester, they plan their annual “Operation Turkey Dinner”, a can food drive for the local food bank for families for the Thanksgiving holidays.
