The DESRC is UNT's campus hub for student support. We offer free food and clothing
resources, professional development and volunteer opportunities, and are home to all
things sustainability at UNT!
We house the UNT Food Pantry, Clothing Closet, Suit Up Closet, Mean Green Gowns for
Grads, the UNT Community Garden, the Sustainable Arts Garden, and the We Mean Green
Fund! Explore our many programs below.
UNT FOOD PANTRY
The UNT Food Pantry Presented by Kroger offers free food to all currently enrolled
UNT students.
CLOTHING & SUIT UP CLOSETS
The Diamond Eagle Clothing Closet offers free clothing for UNT students. The Suit
Up Closet offers free short-term professional wear rentals for UNT students.
GOWNS FOR GRADS
The Mean Green Gowns for Grads program provides free graduation regalia rentals for
graduates.
WE MEAN GREEN FUND
The We Mean Green Fund funds on-campus sustainability projects proposed by students,
staff, and faculty.
UNT COMMUNITY GARDEN
The UNT Community Garden is dedicated to increasing food sovereignty on campus, offering
students, staff, and faculty an opportunity to grow their own food.
SUSTAINABLE ARTS GARDEN
The Sustainable Arts Garden (SAG) is a natural dye garden dedicated to building creative
community and connections to the land through sustainable art education and experimentation.
