UNT On-Campus Resources

UNT Counseling & Testing Center

Counseling and Testing Services (CTS) provides comprehensive psychological services to all UNT students. UNT Dining Hall Passes

UNT Day Use University Union Lockers
Need a place to store your items for the day? The University Union on the Denton Main Campus has lockers available for day use for students. The lockers can be found on the 2nd Floor of the Union by the Chat. Touchpad Lockers are available and are self serve checkout. Lockers are available when the building is open.

UNT Health & Wellness Center
The Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC) is UNT’s on-campus doctors' office, dedicated to supporting student health and success. They provide care for injuries, illnesses, and a wide range of medical concerns, with the convenience of on-site lab testing and X-ray services. Their office also offers health education programs to help students prioritize their well-being as they stay on track toward graduation and professional achievement. "I Bike UNT" - Theft Protection
Through a partnership with the UNT Police Department, this bike theft prevention project provides students with free bike locks and bike ownership engravings. The We Mean Green Fund initiative launched at EarthFest 2016 when UNT Police engraved over 100 bicycles for students who also received a free OnGuard Bulldog U-Lock. If a stolen bike is recovered and has an engraving on it, it can be returned to its rightful owner. To learn more and get your own engravings or bike locks, click the link here.
Interlibrary Loan and Documents Deliver (UNT Library)
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Document Delivery are free resource sharing services for eligible UNT patrons that provide access to library materials either owned or not owned by UNT Libraries. The ILL service borrows or obtains items not available at UNT Libraries from other institutions. The Document Delivery service delivers electronic copies of articles and book chapters from the UNT Libraries’ collections. UNT IT Helpdesk
The Information Technology HelpDesk is here to provide technical support to UNT Denton & Frisco students, faculty, staff, retirees, alumni, and visitors with timely, professional answers to your computing and information technology questions! UNT Food Pantry
The UNT Food Pantry presented by Kroger is one of the best ways to serve our students experiencing food insecurity. They opened their doors in January 2015 in a small closet in the Union. We have moved four times since our early beginnings, growing and developing new ways to meet the needs of our students experiencing food insecurity. It is our privilege to serve our students! UNT Diamond Eagle Student Resource Center (DESRC)

The DESRC is UNT's campus hub for student support. Their office offers free food and clothing resources, professional development and volunteer opportunities, and are home to all things sustainability at UNT! They house the UNT Food Pantry, Clothing Closet, Suit Up Closet, Mean Green Gowns for Grads, the UNT Community Garden, the Sustainable Arts Garden, and the We Mean Green Fund! DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit)

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) provides modern public transit services designed for fast, comfortable, and economical travel. The agency operates light rail, Trinity Railway Express, regional rail, bus routes, GoLink on-demand service, and paratransit, moving more than 171,000 passengers daily across a 700-square-mile, 12-city region including Addison, Carrollton, Cockrell Hill, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Garland, Glenn Heights, Irving, Richardson, Rowlett, Plano, and University Park. DCTA (Denton County Transit Authority)

Students, faculty, and staff of the University of North Texas (UNT) may ride UNT Campus Shuttle and Connect Bus services in Denton by presenting a valid UNT identification card. The UNT Campus Shuttle system offers a robust schedule of 15 bus routes which serve the entire UNT campus as well as many of the most widely used off-campus housing areas, local businesses, and attractions. The UNT Campus Shuttle bus service is also available to the general public with normal fares. Additionally, DCTA provides a comprehensive University Pass Program that offers a discounted pass for students, faculty and staff looking to incorporate the A-train in their travels on a regular basis.
