Every reasonable effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations in an effective and timely manner.
Meals During Family Weekend
Paid participants for Family Weekend are provided some meals during the weekend. Below is a listing of the provided meals, including the menu:
Friday, September 20, 2024 |

6:00pm - 7:30pm
|
Dinner is provided at Scrappy's Extravaganza hosted in the UNT Coliseum.
Menu - pulled chicken BBQ sandwiches, chips and brownies. A vegetarian/vegan option will
be available.

Saturday, September 21, 2024 |

9:00am - 10:00am
|
Breakfast is provided at the President's Breakfast at the UNT Coliseum (600 Avenue
D).
Menu - Scrambled eggs, country potatoes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, and fruit. Coffee,
juice, and water provided.

2:00pm - 5:30pm
|
A Tailgate Lunch is provided at the Mean Green Tailgate prior to the game at the tailgate
location northeast of the Alumni Pavilion.
Menu - quarter-pound all-beef hot dog served with chips, potato salad, watermelon slices,
and bottled water or soda. A vegan portobello mushroom on a semolina bun will also
be available.

Breakfast is provided at the Farewell Breakfast at the UNT Coliseum (600 Avenue D).
Menu - Scrambled eggs, home-fried potatoes, applewood smoked bacon, grilled sausage links,
pancakes, and seasonal fruit. Coffee, hot tea, and orange juice are provided.

Parking and Transportation
Family Weekend parking information will be shared closer to the event date.
Optional game day parking is available for an additional fee. Information about Game Day parking, including lot availability and rates, is available on the UNT Athletics website.
While the majority of our events during Family Weekend take place in the lawn of the Coliseum, guests should be prepared to walk to activity locations. Limited game day shuttles are available for stadium access. Guests should visit the Game Day Guide for information about ADA parking and shuttles on Saturday.

On-Campus Facilities
Restroom facilities will be available for Family Weekend at the Coliseum, Gate B for all outdoor events in the Coliseum lawn. Residence Hall restrooms are not available for use by guests to ensure the safety of our students.
Directions to Campus
- From Dallas - Take I-35 E North into Denton. Once in Denton, you will exit 466B/North Texas Blvd.
- From Fort Worth - Take I-35 W into Denton. When in Denton, take the I-35 E exit and proceed south. You will take exit 466B/North Texas Blvd.
- From Oklahoma City - Take I-35 South into Denton. Exit 468 and proceed to North Texas Blvd.
