When is Family Weekend?
Family Weekend 2021 is scheduled for Friday, September 17 – Sunday, September 19, 2021.
Will Family Weekend take place in-person?
Yes! We are planning a full calendar of events on campus. Please note that while we are planning for in-person events, the format of the program could change as we navigate COVID-19 and the impacts to our local community.
Do I have to register for Family Weekend?
Yes. All participants must register to attend Family Weekend. Pre-registration will be available through Wednesday, September 15 at 12 p.m. CST. You can also register on-site on Friday or Saturday. See the schedule page for check-in times and locations.
Do UNT students have to register for Family Weekend?
Yes. UNT students must also register for Family Weekend. 1 UNT student registration is complimentary with each family group registration. If you would like to attend on your own, you must register as an adult/primary registrant and will be charged the $65 registration fee. If you have questions about the registration form, call our office at 940-565-4198.
What does the Family Weekend fee cover?
The fee for Family Weekend pays for participant materials, meals, all events (except for the optional 5K Family Fun Run), and football tickets.
Should I purchase football tickets in addition to signing up for Family Weekend?
No. Your Family Weekend fee includes football tickets for all registered participants. UNT students receive complimentary tickets to all sporting events. Students should claim their tickets at unttix.com.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refund and cancellation requests must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5 business days before the event to receive a full refund. Please include the primary contact listed on your registration and the reason for your request. Refunds will be credited to the original card used to register. No cancellations will be taken by phone.
After the event has passed, no refunds will be issued. If you feel that you have an extenuating circumstance, please email email@example.com.
