Eagle for a Day is an opportunity for prospective transfer students to experience campus as a UNT Eagle. Students will get a chance to:

  • Learn about various offices and resources on campus

  • Talk to current UNT students about their experiences on campus

  • Learn about the admissions and orientation processes

Please note: Eagle for a Day is not a substitute for orientation.

Eagle for a Day is free for all prospective transfer students and their guests.

Transfer Students Participating in Eagle for A Day will receive:

Orientation Fee Waiver: As a token of our appreciation for your participation, you will receive an orientation fee waiver valid for a Transfer/Summer or Frisco Orientation through August 2027.
(Must be present for the entire event and no retroactive fee waivers will be granted for orientation registration made prior to attending the event.)

Application Fee Waiver: Complete your admissions application on-site in our application lab and receive a waiver of the $75 application fee.
(Must be present for the entire event and event attendees must apply on-site on event day and complete our feedback survey. No retroactive fee waivers will be granted for applications submitted prior to attending the event.)
