Spring Soar 2019

Welcome back! Student Activities is offering two programs during Spring Soar.

Get Involved!

You keep hearing over and over again that you need to "get involved." Getting involved can help you develop leadership skills, meet new people, make friends, and increase your school pride. Come out to learn about the different campus involvement opportunities, from student organizations to events, that UNT provides. While this program is presented during Spring Soar, any student is welcome to attend. It will be held in person on Tuesday, January 15 at 4pm in Sage 116.

Unable to make it? Check out our online Get Involved! session from January 16-20.  New students (Spring 2019): To access it, log on to UNT Instructure (Canvas) with your EUID (example: abc1234) and password. Campus Quest

Traveler, are you living off-campus? Do you wish to know the treasures that UNT holds? Then take on Campus Quest, an online "scavenger hunt," to learn all the secrets of the campus services the university provides to all travelers. This adventure is all from your laptop if you are unable trek through the forests and mountains (or simply I-35) to get to campus. The quest will open up in Canvas January 14 and close on January 20. New students (Spring 2019): To access it, log on to UNT Instructure (Canvas) with your EUID (example: abc1234) and password. Our Mission

Student Activities promotes a sense of community and loyalty to the university, while serving to enhance the social, intellectual and developmental growth of students as individuals or as members of organizations. By engaging members of the university community in collaborative efforts, Student Activities nurtures citizenship, leadership and community, while striving to assist in the holistic development of students.

Get Connected

One of the goals of Student Activities is to help students make connections on campus and maximize their college experience through student organizations. We have about 400 orgs from which to choose, so there’s something for everyone. And if there’s not, you can create one! Becoming a member of a student organization helps you meet new people, develop leadership skills, and promote your interests while in college.
