Counseling and Testing Services
Counseling and Testing Services (CTS) provides comprehensive psychological services
to all UNT students. CTS consists of two inter-related parts: Counseling Services
and Professional & Academic Testing. We invite you to explore our programs and services
and let us know how we can help you.
SERVICES WE OFFER
Crisis Counseling
Crisis counselors are available 24/7 via phone at 940-565-2741 and press 1. Students
can also walk-in on campus from 8am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday to speak to a counselor
in person.
Group Counseling
CTS groups and workshops offer a wide range of topics like grief, coping skills, art,
music, social anxiety, crocheting, mindfulness, student life, academics, and time
management.
Individual Therapy
Common concerns addressed in counseling include stress/anxiety, low self-esteem, body
image concerns, identity development, relationship challenges, depression, academic
performance, and substance use.
