Centralized Peer Mentor Training is an excellent opportunity for peer mentors to meet and network with other student leaders on campus. Student who complete the training learn new skills to improve their ability to effectively lead and mentor their peers.
All undergraduate students serve in a peer mentor or peer liaison role are encouraged to participate in this training. Centralized Peer Mentor Training does not replace job specific training, but it does supplement student learning about the role of peer mentors on a college campus.
During our Centralized Peer Mentoring sessions, we train student leaders/mentors on the benefits of mentorship, tips and tricks, and many other things that come with being a peer mentor to students or prospective students. We will be going in-depth into leadership, the student journey timeline, and providing your students with the opportunity to take the Clifton Strengths Assessment and learn more about their strengths. Students only have to attend one session.
