Online Program Orientations


Online orientation is only offered for students pursuing degree programs where courses are all online. Currently, the only programs that are online are the BAAS program in the New College, Coursera, and certain degrees in the College of Health and Public Service.


The cost to participate in all online program orientations is $45.00.

Health and Public Service

All Health and Public Service students enrolling in the 2021 Spring semester are required to participate in a standard virtual orientation. For details, including the schedule and requirements, visit our Spring Orientation webpage. Students can register at

Transient/Visiting Students

Transient/visiting students are students attending UNT for a semester with plans to transfer those credits back to their home institution. All new transient/visiting students are expected to complete an online orientation module through Canvas. The module for spring transient/visiting students will open the morning of Spring Orientation 1. Transient/visiting students should log on to with their campus EUID and password to access the online orientation module. Course registration will not be available for transient/visiting students at a later date.
