UNT TRIO Upward Bound works with first-generation, income-eligible high schoolers from Denton County schools. We strive to provide our students the best resources and experiences possible and with your help, we'll be able to empower our college-bound students.

What your gift supports

Your gift will be directed towards a scholarship fund that will be given out to students who complete applications in their senior year expressing their need for it.

With your contribution, you'll have a part in brightening our students' futures.

West Grant (Students from Ryan, Denton, and Sanger High)
  • 92% postsecondary enrollment rate
  • 64% of the 2019 cohort earned a college degree within six years, well above the 42% federal benchmark
East Grant (Students from Aubrey, Braswell, Krum, and Little Elm)
  • 98% of non-seniors promoted to the next grade level
