the University Union, Gateway Center, Coliseum, and Student Affairs at Discovery Park.
UNION CIRCLE UPDATES
Estimated completion date: End of October 2025
Why is Union Circle under construction? The city of Denton is renovating Union Circle with new water utilities, sidewalk repairs, and a new road. Once finished, traffic will reverse direction—entering from Chestnut Street and exiting onto Prairie Street.UNION PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

Design Works
Design Works employs a student staff of award-winning designers. Designers are available
for brochures, logos, flyers, scans, and basic setups. The shop also does large and
small format printing with a variety of other services.

What food options are available in the Union?
The Union offers many retail dining options such as Chick-fil-a, Burger King, Fuzzy's, Starbucks, Krispy Krunchy Chicken, The Campus Chat food court, Avesta, Jamba Juice and Verde Everyday Express. You can learn more about dining options and hours of operations here.
Where can I learn more about the Union? What if I am lost?
On level 2 of the Union we have an info desk that also works as the University's Lost and Found. They are happy to assist you there to help point you in the right direction. Click here to view the Union Map.
Where is the ESSC / Eagle Student Service Center?
The ESSC is located on level 2 of the Union towards the south entrance of the Union where the scrappy statue is. Heading down the hall you will see a ramp going down towards the ESSC across from Design Works and DATCU.
Why should I visit the Union?
The Union is a great place to visit between classes to grab a snack, relax, study
or catch an event! UPC often holds events here in the Union and shows movies often
in the Lyceum, free to all students with their student ID. The Union also has a Barns
& Noble book store and Eagle Post on level 1.
