Eagle Post Mail and Locker System

UNT has partnered with Canon Solutions America by providing an improved package program through Eagle Post at the University Union. The program modernizes how packages are handled, enhances the efficiency, security, and cost-effectiveness of the mailroom, enhances users' experience, and supports our university's sustainability efforts.

Located on the first floor of the University Union the Eagle Post provides complete mail services including Stamps, Postage and Shipping Services.

Information & Hours of Operation

Summer Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm | Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm | Sunday CLOSED

Normal Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:30pm | Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm | Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm

HOW WILL I PICK UP MY PACKAGES?
  • EAGLE POST now offers “smart” lockers for package pick-up
  • Students will receive an email notification when their package is delivered with access information
  • Students will visit smart lockers at the Eagle Post at the University Union for pickup
  • Packages not picked up within 10 business days will be returned to the sender.
HOW WILL I PICK UP MY PAPER/LETTER MAIL?

All USPS paper/letter mail will be consolidated and distributed at the Eagle Post mailroom. When mail addressed to you is received, it will be processed, and you will receive an email notification to your UNT email that you have mail waiting for you at the Eagle Post located in the Union Building. You will be notified via email when you have mail, no need to keep checking your mailbox. You will be able to retrieve your mail at the service counter at the Eagle Post Mail Center.

  • Students will receive an email notification when their mail is received at the Eagle Post Mail Center.
  • Students will visit Eagle Post at the University Union for pickup during regular business hours.
WHICH ADDRESS SHOULD I USE TO RECEIVE MAIL/PACKAGES?

To receive packages and mail in a timely manner, please use the following address:

Tip: please use your first and last names exactly how they are spelled on your student ID. If you have a common name, please include middle name or nickname.

*Students can request for their packages to be located in the Comfort Zone (between 18” and 44”) by visiting the Eagle Post window.

For Faculty/Staff who are renting a mailbox:

Boxes may be rented for $35 for 6 months or $70 for a year.

WHAT IS THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE WHEN PICKING UP PACKAGES?

Package retrieval in three easy steps:

  • 1. Receives notification of delivery via email.
  • 2. Go to the locker location identified in the notification (Eagle 1, 2 or 3) and enter the provided PIN code.
  • 3. Locker door will open for package retrieval.
WHAT IS THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE WHEN PICKING UP MAIL?

Mail retrieval in three easy steps:

  • 2. Go to the Eagle Post counter during normal business hours.
  • 3. Provide your student ID.
Why am I not receiving a mailbox assignment for this upcoming school year?

Starting 2022 Fall Semester, all USPS white mail will be consolidated and distributed at the Eagle Post mail room. All USPS white mail will be sorted, processed, and filed through the mail tracking system and you will receive a notification to your UNT email that you have mail.

Do I need to check with someone to see if I have mail?

No, you will be notified when you have mail. If you don't receive a notification from us, you don't have mail.

How would I get my USPS Mail?

You can retrieve your USPS mail at the Eagle Post service counter during our business hours.

Services

  • - Postage Stamps (Forever) are currently $.55 cents each - Stamps are also sold in Books of 20 for $11.00 - Global Forever Stamps are $1.20 each - Postcard Stamps are $.35 cents - Pre-Stamped #10 Envelopes are available for $.69 cents each

  • The Eagle Post has USPS Priority Mail Supplies available. Postage Rates to ship Priority are the following: - Priority Flat Rate Letter $7.75 - Priority Bubble Pak $8.40 - Small Flat Rate Box $8.30 - Medium Flat Rate Box $15.05 - Large Flat Rate Box $21.10 Priority Tyvek Envelope and Large Shipping Boxes rates are determined by Destination Zip Code and weight.

  • UNT students, faculty, and staff may also drop off prepaid packages and Boxes to the Eagle Post to be sent out on the next scheduled pick up by each Delivery Carrier. This includes UPS, Fedex, USPS, FedEx Ground and DHL. The Eagle Post will tape the package or Box and place the prepaid shipping label in a pouch for attachment to the package if needed.
