Curated Group Exhibition - Growing Pains
Each semester, the UNT Union holds a group show for UNT students to submit their work. This semester, we are looking for works that center around the idea of what it means to grow up. Growing pains and all, everyone gets older and with that might come challenges with relationships, conflicts, reminiscing of your past, and learning how to be your own person. We are looking for works surrounding your personal experiences and an exploration of what it means to grow up and how you’ve navigated trying to enter adulthood. Feel free to submit works of any medium and any subject matter that relates to the idea of growing pains and growing up. The selected works will be displayed in the UNT Union’s group show, curated by the Union Gallery staff. Submissions will be due on Monday, September 9, 2024 and are free. Submissions will only be accepted only Slideroom from UNT students. Work must be available for display between October 21-November 15, 2024.
Guidelines: We are looking for the following mediums: painting, sculpture, ceramic, digital, new media, printmaking, drawing, etc. THIS MUST BE YOUR OWN WORK, PLAGIARISM WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please submit 1-5 works with your name, title of piece, dimensions, year, and if the artwork is for sale. Work without this information will not be accepted. *disclaimer: submission does not guarantee selection*
