The only way to exhibit your work in the Union Art Gallery is to apply through Slideroom one semester in advance of the time you would like to exhibit.
Once the deadline has passed, the Union Art Gallery selection committee will review and evaluate the applications. The top rated applicants will be granted the opportunity to exhibit in the Union Art Gallery for the upcoming semester. We cannot accept any applications past the deadline.
Applications are currently open for solo/small group exhibition proposals for Spring 2025. The deadline to apply is November 11, 2024.
The University Union is hosting our 1st Annual Juried Show! Submit now for your chance to have your artwork hand selected by our juror, Analise Minjarez, and potentially win cash prizes or have your artwork purchased by the Union!
What is a juried show? A juried show is an art competition in which participants' work is evaluated and selected by a panel or judge (a juror). Jurors are typically experienced artists, curators, and/or art professionals. Juried art shows can be highly competitive and often offer rewards/prizes. The Union is hosting a juried show to showcase and recognize the great artistic talent we have on campus!
About our Juror: Analise Minjarez (1990) is an interdisciplinary artist and arts educator from El Paso, TX. Through her interdisciplinary studio, Minjarez seeks out the possibilities and limits of her wonder with nature.
