The University of North Texas’ We Mean Green Fund (WMGF) is a student-funded resource created to support new campus environmental sustainability projects that are developed and led by students, staff, and faculty. The WMGF depends on collaborative campus partnerships between individuals, departments, and organizations to advance campus sustainability efforts.
The We Mean Green Fund Committee selects projects that enhance student learning and campus life while addressing environmental sustainability topics such as waste reduction, energy and water conservation, transportation, community engagement and education, building efficiencies, landscaping, gardening, biodiversity, and more.
The UNT Environmental Volunteerism Graduation Cord (EVGC) recognizes students for their contribution to environmental sustainability through community volunteerism. Upon completion of 75 volunteer hours, students receive a hand-dyed cord from the UNT Natural Dye Garden. Start volunteering today!
